HOUSE RULES & BOOKING CONDITIONS
Hôtel du Port – Morlaix
1. NON-SMOKING ESTABLISHMENT
In accordance with Decree No. 2006-1386 of November 15, 2006, smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited in rooms and common areas.
Any breach will result in the charging of cleaning and compensation fees for room immobilization, with a minimum amount of €100, corresponding to deep cleaning costs and loss of revenue.
The establishment reserves the right to refuse any future booking in the event of non-compliance.
2. DAMAGE – LIABILITY
The guest is responsible for all damage caused by themselves or by persons accompanying them (Articles 1240 et seq. of the French Civil Code).
Any damage (textiles, furniture, equipment, persistent odors, etc.) will be charged to the credit card provided as a guarantee.
In the event of significant damage, a complaint may be filed with the relevant authorities.
3. ACCESS TO ROOMS
Check-in: from 2:00 PM
Check-out: before 11:00 AM
Any occupation beyond this time may result in the charging of an additional night.
Check-in is possible until 8:30 PM.
After this time, the reservation is no longer guaranteed and may be cancelled without prior notice.
4. PAYMENT & GUARANTEE
Payment is accepted exclusively by:
Credit card
Paper holiday vouchers (ANCV)
Cash and bank checks are not accepted.
All reservations must be guaranteed by a valid and sufficiently funded credit card number, including its expiration date.
The hotel reserves the right to refuse any reservation if the credit card number is invalid or if the reservation is incomplete.
Virtual cards are not accepted as a guarantee.
The cost of the room may be charged to the credit card used for the reservation.
5. SECURITY DEPOSIT
A €50 credit card pre-authorization will be processed upon arrival.
This amount is not charged unless damage is identified.
The pre-authorization is released on the day of departure after the room has been checked.
The effective release time depends on the interbank processing times of the guest’s bank.
If it is not possible to process this pre-authorization, the establishment reserves the right to immediately cancel the reservation without prior notice.
6. IDENTIFICATION
An official ID may be requested upon arrival to verify the correspondence between the reservation and the credit card used.
7. VISITORS
Rooms are designed for a specific number of occupants.
Any external visitor must report to the reception desk.
Accommodating undeclared additional persons is prohibited for security reasons.
8. DISTURBANCES – BEHAVIOR
Guests are required to respect the peace and quiet of other guests from 11:00 PM onwards.
Any behavior disturbing the order, safety, or tranquility of the establishment may result in immediate exclusion, without refund, and, if necessary, intervention by the authorities.
9. PETS
Pets are not allowed.
10. VALUABLES
The hotel declines all responsibility in case of loss or theft of personal belongings.
Guests are advised to lock their room when leaving.
11. CANCELLATION – MODIFICATION – EARLY DEPARTURE
For direct bookings:
Free cancellation until 12:00 PM on the day before arrival.
After this deadline, the first night will be charged.
All cancellations must be confirmed by email.
In case of no-show, the full amount of the first night will be charged.
In the event of early departure or interruption of the stay, the total amount of the booked stay remains due and no refund may be claimed, regardless of the reason.
Bookings made through external platforms are subject to the specific conditions of those platforms.
The hotel’s house rules apply to all reservations, including those made through external websites.
By accepting the rental of the room, you agree to the specific conditions and the hotel’s house rules.
